DENVER, CO, February 19, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ — Recently Shawna Simcik, President of Business Leadership at ICC (Innovate Coach Consult) sat down with Tim Coan, Founder and CEO of ALN, to discuss Tim’s personal leadership journey and how his experiences have shaped the culture he has created within his company.

Tim Coan is responsible for ALN’s overall direction and one of his primary roles is to provide guidance to ALN clients as they develop their strategies for the future. He is a frequent national speaker on healthcare issues and writes a blog on matters that are important to independent physicians. Tim is one of the founders of ALN and has served as its Chief Executive Officer since inception in 2000. Tim has worked extensively in the healthcare industry and with physicians in multiple contexts throughout his career, which includes over 30 years of experience in strategy, business development and change management. Prior to founding ALN, he was the founder of Aslex, Inc., a healthcare strategy consulting company, and before that, he was a Senior Manager in Andersen Consulting’s (now Accenture) Change Management practice. Tim also has a background in human resources (HR). He received a master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Tulsa and his bachelor’s in psychology and sociology from Southwest Baptist University.
When talking about the vision for ALN, the importance of humanity in the workplace, and his leadership philosophy, Tim stated, “We wanted to create the company that was the company where we always wanted to work. And as we tried to put some flesh on that, one of the things that we landed on early was that we wanted to presume that everybody was a committed responsible adult who’s trying to do their job.”
