ICC–Innovate. Coach. Consult. Earns Top 100 Women-Owned Business Distinction for Second Year
DENVER, CO, June 23, 2016 – ICC–Innovate. Coach. Consult. (ICC), a talent management, organizational effectiveness and outplacement firm based in Denver with offices in Cincinnati, OH, was recently named a Top 100 Woman-Owned Company in Colorado by Colorado Biz Magazine. “We are thrilled to have earned a spot on this list of the heavy-hitting women-owned businesses in Colorado for a second time in our six years of service to clients in Colorado!” said Susan Ruhl, President and CFO.
Ruhl and business partner Shawna Simcik, President-Business Leadership, have successfully increased ICC’s footprint, which now includes offices in Ohio, after starting ICC during the worst recession in recent history. Since the company’s founding in 2010, ICC has gained attention for its innovative work in executive coaching, leadership and team development, compassionate outplacement and culture change.
“ICC is proud to offer our services to the surrounding Denver and Cincinnati communities as well as throughout the world through our global partnerships,” Ruhl stressed. Ruhl is the current Board Chair of OI Global Partners, a leading, global human resources consulting firm that supports organizations in managing their talent more effectively and individuals in managing their careers more proactively.
“To say we can fix every workplace ‘people problem’ would be an overstatement for sure,” stated Simcik, who also holds the position of President of the Board of Directors for the Mile High chapter of the Society for Human Resources Management (Mile High SHRM). “But, at ICC, we firmly believe that the success of a business lives and dies by its people. And, for that reason, we work with underperforming teams and leaders to help them become highly productive contributors to the organization’s goals. When ICC can support bringing together the right people with the right skills and behaviors, align them in achieving the business’ objectives, employees, shareholders and communities all win.”
ICC–Innovate. Coach. Consult., an OI Global Partner and certified women-owned business, acts as an extension to their clients’ internal resources, supporting human resources, organizational development and learning and development teams to add value to their organizations’ bottom lines through talent management consulting, organizational effectiveness, outplacement services and executive coaching.
“We have a fantastic team that allows ICC to solve people and workplace challenges with solutions not found elsewhere in the industry. We feel so fortunate to be making the difference we are in the business world. We appreciate the acknowledgement from Colorado Biz Magazine,” agreed Ruhl and Simcik.
